Trends: El estilo #SPORTYCHIC

¡Feliz lunes mis amores! Para comenzar esta semana, les traigo una nota sobre una tendencia que me ha enamorado los pasados meses: el estilo #SPORTYCHIC.

Happy Monday my loves! To start this week, I’m bringing you a note about a trend that I have fallen in love with over the past few months: the #SPORTYCHIC style.

La combinación de tendencias actuales con ropa deportiva o cómoda. Es perfecto para esos días en los que queremos estar cómodos, pero al mismo tiempo, con mucho estilo.

The combination of current trends with sportswear or comfortable clothes. It’s perfect for those days when we want to be comfortable, but at the same time, with a lot of style.

An ultra-important basic for me of this sporty chic style, is a good pair of sneakers. As you can tell, I am addicted to Adidas shoes, not only for their original designs, but also for how comfortable they are; it’s like walking on a cloud. I love to combine the most colorful designs with basic pieces such as a pair of jeans and a T-shirt, or a mini skirt and a basic white v-neck.

Agregar piezas inesperadas como lo es una correa peplum, es un toque divertido que puede elevar cualquier look sporty chic.

Adding unexpected pieces like a peplum belt is a fun touch that can elevate any sporty chic look.

I might not be American, but ever since I can remember my family has always been influenced by american culture (I also studied in an american school here in Panama). Most of my summers growing up where spent in Houston, where my grandma’s BFF lives, and we would always enjoy a good american style BBQ by the pool — amazing memories.  Read More

A Trench Coat | Work Outfit Inspiration

The trench coat is a trend I’ve kind of been on the fence about this spring, since I live in Panamá which is a tropical country, with lots and lots of heat, and I never thought it would work. But the more I studied this trend, the more I knew it was totally wearable here in Panama. The trench is back (did it really ever leave though?), and is here to stay.  Read More

Petite Fashion Tips

Being “petite” not only makes reference to thin and short women. “Petite” women are generally characterised as being less than 5’4 feet or 162.5 centimetres tall. This is why brands that have clothing for this type of body, handle narrower shoulders and usually shorter pants. Read More

Being a Woman

Being a woman is beautiful yet difficult. As little girls, we have to learn early on to stand our ground and how to communicate our opinion with a stronger conviction than men. We are sometimes overlooked because of our gender or not taken seriously.  Read More

Outfit Inspiration: Valentine’s Day

Usually I am not one to go for an all pastel look, but Valentine’s day kind of brings out the cutie in me. When I first saw this dress back in November, I knew I had to have it. I didn’t have in mind any specific look for it, I just knew it would be a good buy. Read More

Green Midi Dress + Red Handbag

One of my new year resolutions for 2017 is to dress with more color. Last year, i had this all black, all neutral mindset which I want to change. My closet felt in a rut which I needed to fix. So when I saw this dress in Via Vai (Panamanian store) it just made sense. I felt very Dolce & Gabbana as soon as I tried it on.
