Flared Jeans are the New Black

I feel like jeans are a staple piece for every season. I’ve always been such a jean fanatic, I sometimes have to force myself to use something other than denim. That being said, for the past few years I’ve neglected every type of jean that was not a skinny cut. But for some reason unknown to me, I’ve decided to venture out of my comfort zone this year and try to dress with more colourful clothing (not always in black clothes) and try different cut of jeans. And to my surprise… it has worked, hehe! I’m not only dressing in more colourful pieces, but I’ve changed my staple high-waited skinny jeans for high-waisted flared jeans. I love the way flared jeans flatter my hourglass figure, making my legs look longer, and creating an illusion of smaller hips.

By the way, what are your thoughts on the basket bag trend? I’m kind of loving it! Found this hand made basket bag at a local shop in Panama’s Casco Antigua called Viviendo. I love to support local craftsmanship, so this handbag hit in just the right spot.

  1. Me encanta! Uno de mis looks favoritos del blog…a mi me gustan mucho los looks con este tipo de pantalón también, mucho más que con los skinny. Congrats!
