Two of the things I love the most are my friends and New York City, put them together and they add up to the perfect 5 day mini vacations EVER! To be completely honest, I’m still dreaming about it, that is why I have decided to share with you some of my favorite moments and things from New York that I actually photographed.
When I’m having so much fun with my friends, I sometimes forget to take my camera or phone out and take pictures of everything!! I have to get better at it. Nonetheless, I did get to snap some thing that I can share with you!
I just love New York sooo much, waking up there every morning made me automatically have an amazing mood all day… I mean, how could it not?! It’s such a fun city, with a million different things to do and places to have the most delicious food EVER. And lets not even get started on the variety of stores! I would seriously be bankrupt leaving in a place like NYC.
If you are wondering where I took that picture with the cool colors and the “I Choose Love” quote, it was in SoHo. Walking through the streets of SoHo, you can find some amazing street art. By the way, that day I was wearing: a blazer and pants from Zara | top from H&M | shoes from Loeffler Randall | handbag from Purificación Garcia (similar here & here) | sunglasses from Fendi (oldies).
The outfit pictured above is from day 1. That day we had brunch at Jack’s Wife Freda. And OMG you guys, it was just amazing. I had the Madame Freda (pictured below) which was so incredibly amazing. All the plates looked so yummy, and the place was packed full! We had to wait like half an hour to be sited. If you are in SoHo, definitely give this place a chance. I also loved the concept of farm to table since Panama has no restaurants like that.
After that we walked to a small bakery shop which was delicious. I had one of the best cupcakes I’ve had in my entire life. The place is called Little Cupcake Bakeshop. They have tons of dessert to choose from!
After that we walked through Central Park and 5th avenue! That is when I bought my infamous and very loved Alexander Mcqueen scarf. It was literally calling my name!
On day 2, we did a little more touristy things like visiting the Grand Central Station, St. Patricks Cathedral and Rockefeller Center; with some shopping intertwined, hehe. We also had turkish food which was AMAZING!
On day 3 I took no pictures! I know, I know… bad blogger. We just had a fun day looking at shops.
I forgot to mention that the day I arrived we went to a Broadway Show called Kinky Boots! I laughed so hard that I felt I was working my abs. You should totally watch it if you have a chance. It touches on very current topics like gender diversity. Here is a little pic from our walk through Times Square after the show.
