What is in my Travel Makeup Bag?

It took me years of travelling to not only minimise what I brought with me while traveling, but to get down the perfect, 5 minute makeup routine with the right products. I have finally got them down and I couldn’t wait to share with you these gems.

Just a quick side note, I am a lipstick aficionado, don’t get scared, he he.

Almay Clear Complexion Concealer Corrector: This is my go-to everyday concealer. It will cover any spot/blemish I have on my face that I need to hide for the perfect selfie, hehe. I blend this with my travel size 135 Mac brush.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector: Under eye bags are not attractive. I love how this covers them, but also brightens my under eye area, helping me create in no time a Kim Kardashian highlight effect.  I blend this with my travel size 135 Mac brush.

Max Factor Facefinity Compact Foundation: The most effective foundation I’ve found to this day. Easy to apply, and lasts all day long. And I love how it keeps me matte with no need to blot thought the day.

Pixi Natural Contour Powder: I love to give some warmth to my face. This is the perfect shade, with no glitter/shine. Easy to apply and blend. I apply this with my travel size Mac 187 brush.

Max Factor Colorfast Blush in Rubor Colorfast: When it comes to blush, I like as natural as possible. This Max Faxtor blush not only lasts all day, but gives the perfect warmth to my face. As if my cheeks where blushing naturally. I apply this with my EcoTools blush brush.

Stila Huge Extreme Lash Mascara: When it comes to lashes, I love volume. Since I have green eyes, I love to make them pop with darkest mascara I can get my hands on. Lately, I’ve been gravitating only towards this mascara. It gives my lashes amazing volume with a few coats.

It Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil: I’ve been using this pencil on and off for about a year now. I love how easy it is for me to shape my uneven brows with this. Guys, I am a mess at doing my brows, but this thing really helps me get them presentable enough. So if this works for me, it might work for you too.

Benefit Gimme Brow (travel size): I got this product as a sample in Ulta a couple months back and I’ve been giving it a try the past few weeks. It is nice, but I prefer my It Cosmetics brow pencil.

Mac Matte Lipstick in Stone: I usually only wear nude lip colours, but I’ve been trying to venture out and this is the perfect color. It is like a dark nude with grey under tones. I’ve been loving this color so much, mostly because I feel it compliments my skin tone and eye color.

Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick in Stepping Out: This is like my lip color but so much better, and stays on all day. Forget about every other liquid lipstick you’ve tried, this one is by far the best. I need them in every shade.

Max Factor Lipfinity Lip Colour in 390 All Day Seductive: Long-lasting. A nice, every day color that is not the typical nude.

Lipfinity Long Lasting Lipstick in Classy Cherry: A nice red that is easy to work with. But I do prefer my Dolce & Gabbana Scarlett lipstick, even if it transfers a lot, the color suits me better.

  1. Looks like you have traveling with your makeup down to a science! Love that you have so many travel sizes. That always helps so much when saving room while packing. Also, thanks for sharing with us the products you use! I will have to give them a try 🙂
