5 Rules For The Perfect Casual Weekend Look

I’ll be the first to admit that I am a lazy weekend dresser. When it comes to the weekend, I like loose fitting dresses, rompers, maxi dresses or anything that is simple to put on and is an instant outfit. Sure, I will jazz it up with some attention calling accessories, or even put on some bold lip color to make my very effortless look seem as if I tried harder. Let’s be honest, I like to go for the casual look.

When running around town doing errands the last thing you want is to be uncomfortable. To avoid this from happening, I follow this simple set of rules: keep it simple; pick comfortable shoes; keep your face makeup to a minimum, or you’ll be retouching all day long; don’t force yourself into an outfit that you feel uncomfortable in since putting it on, use that extra time you have from picking a simple outfit and wearing very little makeup to do your hair. Having great looking hair just really pulls an outfit together.
